America's National Parks are some of the only wild lands most of us will ever own. Meet President (Teddy) Roosevelt and Friends of Wind Cave National Park (FOWC) at the Sanson Ranch addition to Wind Cave during their inaugural fundraising event on July 7, 2012 from 5-8pm. Come early to enjoy breathtaking views of this remote location and assist the National Park with input on the Visitor use plan of the site during their Open House. Join Park Rangers for free guided tours of the ancient Buffalo Jump, trails and homestead starting at 9am. The Friends event begins at 5pm with a chuck wagon supper cooked to perfection and served Cowboy style. Ramblin' Rangers music duo will serenade you with Cowboy ballads while you dine. Theodore Roosevelt Re-enactor, Joe Wiegand, will take you through his life in the West as the President who helped establish Wind Cave National Park in 1903. Donations for tickets include your meal, entertainment and an historic memento. Not a Friend of Wind Cave National Park yet? Your ticket includes FOWC membership. Donation prices: Adults - $30 non-members, $20 FOWC members, children under 16 $10. Tickets available at: Hot Springs Chamber Visitor Centers, local businesses as well as FOWC Board members and online at:www.friendsofwindcavenp.org (click on News and Events). Bring the family for a day in our National Park with Friends of Wind Cave and Park Service Rangers. Ensure a legacy for Wind Cave National Park - one of America's best ideas!

Due to the remote location, lack of permanent facilities and parking at the new addition to Wind Cave, the Friends of Wind Cave recommend you purchase tickets in advance to the event on July 7th. Tickets are available at: Wind Cave Bookstore, Hot Springs Visitor Centers, Black Hills Books & Treasures, Earth Goods, members of the FOWC Board and online at www.friendsofwindcavenp.org So gather your friends, purchase your tickets, spend a day at the Park and an evening with Teddy, Friends of Wind Cave, Ramblin' Rangers and chuckwagon supper.
